New Year Traditions

So it’s last day of the year, the last day of the decade …take a moment to breathe. Exhale the challenges of this year and inhale the gifts, the love, and the joy. Embrace the relationships that have supported you and those that have inspired you to grow. Just breathe. And as you do know that you are truly stepping into your magnificence…a magnificent journey. When you look back a year from now, a decade from now you will not recognize yourself, the brilliance may be overwhelming but it is the true you. As you are looking back, I am sure that you are participating in celebrations and family traditions.

What are your year-end traditions? In our family we have several.  One of the most important family traditions we do every New Years Eve is releasing what no longer serves us in a burning bowl ceremony. We each write down of all the things that we are ready to release especially limiting beliefs on the left side of the paper and on the right side with right down the corresponding positive belief that we are replacing it with. We then write a list or letter ourselves of those things that we are committed to for the next year. We rip the paper in half and burn those limiting beliefs. Giving the letter to a friend to mail to you at the end of the year or earlier is a great way to realize the manifestation of your dreams.

Whatever your tradition, I hope you enjoy stepping into the next decade and I will see you in 2010!

Peace and Joy!

Marie
